Why You Would Love to Call Burlington Home

Burlington takes on a new feel as the season of Spring is in full swing.  Normally the waterfront and Spencer Smith park would be buzzing with people and the excitement of nicer weather will bring traffic to the many small businesses that flood the streets at the lakefront.  Right in the middle of the Golden Horseshoe resides this hybrid type city that gives residents the option to commute or work within its limits by offering its residence of all types, with a well-balanced lifestyle. According to Maclean’s Magazine, Burlington is rated as Canada’s best community and best place to raise a family.

The city of Burlington neighbours Hamilton and Oakville and is conveniently located halfway between Toronto and Niagara Falls, along the QEW. Commuter access to and from the city is made easy with access to three GO Train stations. The city of Burlington is prosperous with a small-town feel and a lot to do in and around the city.

The downtown core is flooded with small shops, restaurants, attractions and retailers that are an essential part of the Burlington community.  This is all within walking distance of the lakefront where Spencer Smith Park offers the landscape for taking in the breathtaking views of Lake Ontario.  If water doesn’t interest you, you can always venture into nature and hike the Bruce Trail which offers amazing views of the city from on top of the Niagara Escarpment.

In recent years, Burlington has developed a few new neighbourhoods expanding the city to the north of Dundas. In central Burlington, new construction is being done as infill projects to rejuvenate older neighbourhoods. Glendor Towns is one of the newest collections of 34 modern west coast inspired pre-construction townhomes that is to be built just south of the QEW and just west of Brant, about a 10-minute walk to the Burlington GO Station on Fairview and minutes from the highway. Sales are underway and the development will be ready for people to move in and call it home, in the fall of 2021.  The Glendor Towns community offers people a modern living experience in a city that offers world-class living.
